1.  We strongly advice you to come to Ladakh( leh) 2 days before your Expedition Starts with us. As it will help you acclimatize better for your adventure.
2. You must always have buffer days in hand for travelling to Ladakh for various reasons- Weather, Health, Road conditions etc.
3. Ladakh trekking requires permits and that needs to be paid by the guests(clients)

What is our Trekking-Hiking Training Programs all about?

This Training Program is well-designed  to introduce you  to the World of Trekking-Hiking.

It is a 3N/4D program with on-the field training. with about 70% practical and 30% theory. 

Location- We will take you on a 2day trek with us and give you hands-on experience on -Navigations, Safety Guidelines, Essential Trekking Gears, Communications and Environmental Friendly Approach. All explained below.

Cost- Rs 25000 per person.

What will you learn?

1) Navigation- We take you on a trek and help you understand navigating the terrain through maps mostly on Digital mobile apps.

2) Safety Guidelines- We explain to you some of the Basic safety guidelines you will require to be able to do your treks safely.

3) Essential Trekking Gear- You will learn about the most essential gears for your treks and even learn how to use them and repair them. Gears like- Trekking poles, Tents, Camping Stoves, Sleeping bags, Medical kits and even rescuing your self in certain situations. We try our best to cover every details we can in this 4 days program.

4) Communication Devices- We will also explain to you basic handling of essential communication device like a walkie -talkiie during treks . 

5) Understanding and Respecting Environment- We also explain to you on How you can make least impact on the environment by following basic principals of " Leave no Trace only footprint"

About our  Winter Expedition Training Program. - This is a program especially designed for People with ambitions to do some very serious winter expeditions on their own.

 ( -20C and below) .

It is designed to  give them the confidence that with Right gear and right knowledge to use them and understanding your environment. They will be able to go out in some of the most challenging environments. 

Rs 1,25,000 per person. 

Days - 6N/7Days ( must keep buffer days) 

Location- We take you to some of the coldest part of India in witner to give you on- the field training. with about 70% Practical and 30% theory. 

Why is this training so expensive?

We understand and know why this question might come to your minds. Trust me when we say it is still the most reasonable Winter Expedition Training Program you may ever  come across. 

Most Part of our expense goes in procuring these super expensive equipment that you will be training on. To give you an example- An Expedition Tent costs as much as $800- $1000, Sleeping bags $600-$900, Mittons- $200 ,Expedition Camping stove- $170 and many more items like Ski, Ski Boots etc.  Beside your transport with heavy gears and your food to remote locations are going to be very expensive already.

Even for us these equipment alone cost so much that we have only enough to give training to 2 of you , with some on sharing basis . So in our first Batch we will be only be able to train 2 people .

What will you learn?

1) Navigation-  Winter Navigation can be much more challenging than in normal conditions. Due to High winds, Snow, Ice fields . We will be covering a lot on this with some hands-on practise for you.

2) Safety Guidelines- Safety Guidelines for Winter Expeditions is mostly about understanding the nature of environment you will be facing. Even a small mistake is enough to end with some serious consequences in these harsh conditions.

3) Essential Expedition Gear- Winter Expedition Gears are much more complicated to handle and most important much more expensive as explained above. You will not only learn to how to handle them properly but also learn to repair some of them on the field.

4) Communication Devices-  We will let you test a basic communication device but for satellite emergency communication we will only cover this on theory . 

5) Understanding the Challenges- Winter Expedition is all about making yourself comfortable in most uncomfortable environments. We will do our best to give you that confidence to go out and take these challenges .
